You'll be met at the airport with a traditional garland welcome and driven to Colombo in a private, English-speaking chauffeur-guided vehicle. Early Morning (7:00 AM) Start with a quiet early-morning walk along the ramparts before the crowds arrive your guide gives context, then gives you space. Return for a relaxed Sri Lankan breakfast on Fort Bazaar's terrace, overlooking the historic fort. Morning Mid-morning, enjoy a private demonstration of Beeralu, Galle's traditional bobbin-lace craft with one of the few artisan families who still practise it. Midday Lunch at Pedlar's Inn Café, a converted Dutch colonial house known for its sandwiches and brownies or a private table at your hotel. 5-6 PM: a second complimentary Social Hour of cocktails, wine, beer and canápés.
