Bespoke Terms

Please take some time to read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Luxora Serene website or booking any services through us. By using this website or placing a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Luxora Serene Pvt Ltd is a travel services provider registered in Sri Lanka. Our contact details are available on the website.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of the website and any reservations, quotations or contracts for travel services made through Luxora Serene.

Bookings & Confirmations

  • A booking is confirmed only when we send a written confirmation (email / booking voucher) and, where required, we have received the required deposit or payment.
  • All bookings are subject to availability and to the terms and conditions of the suppliers (hotels, carriers, activity operators) used to fulfil the booking.

Prices & Quotations

  • Quoted prices are in the currency stated and are valid for the period shown on the quotation.
  • Prices may change before your booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, the price is fixed unless the supplier, government or other authority imposes new charges (see clause on surcharges).
  • We reserve the right to correct errors in pricing or descriptions.

Payments & Deposits

  • Payment terms (deposit amount, final payment date, accepted payment methods) will be set out in your quotation or booking confirmation.
  • Failure to make payments by the due date may result in cancellation and loss of deposit.
  • Transaction fees or bank charges may apply to certain payment methods and are payable by the client.

Surcharges & Amendments by Suppliers

  • If suppliers, governments (taxes / fees), fuel costs, or currency fluctuations increase costs after booking, we may apply a surcharge. We will notify you and provide the right to accept or cancel (refund terms as applicable).
  • Any amendments requested by you after confirmation may incur fees charged by Luxora Serene and / or suppliers.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellation terms vary by product and supplier. Applicable cancellation charges will be advised at the time of booking.
  • Refunds (if any) are processed after deduction of cancellation fees and any non-refundable supplier charges. Processing times depend on the payment method and the banks' procedures.

Passports, Visas & Travel Documents

  • It is your responsibility to hold valid passports, visas, permits and any required documentation. We are not responsible for denied boarding, fines or costs arising from lack of correct documentation.
  • Check passport validity and visa requirements well in advance.

Travel Insurance & Health Requirements

  • Comprehensive travel insurance (medical, repatriation, cancellation) is strongly recommended and may be required for participation in certain activities. You must disclose pre-existing medical conditions when purchasing insurance.
  • You must comply with health, vaccination and testing requirements in Sri Lanka.

Supplier Services & Third-Party Contracts

  • Many services are provided by independent third-party suppliers. Luxora Serene acts as agent / organiser for suppliers but is not the supplier unless stated. Specific supplier terms apply.
  • We will endeavour to select reputable suppliers but cannot guarantee their performance; liability is limited as set out below.

Liability & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Luxora Serene's liability for loss, damage, delay, injury or death is limited to the extent caused by our proven negligence and subject to the liability limits of the supplier contracts and applicable conventions.

We are not liable for loss caused by force majeure, actions or omissions of third parties, governmental action, civil unrest, weather, natural hazards, pandemics, or other events outside our control.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Where possible we will assist affected clients in re-arranging services, but additional costs may apply.

Health & Safety; Conduct

Guests must follow the instructions of our staff, guides and suppliers. Luxora Serene may refuse to carry or continue to provide services to any person whose behaviour is likely to endanger themselves or others. No refunds will be given for services terminated for misconduct.

Special Requests & Accessibility

Special requests (dietary, accessible rooms, mobility assistance) should be advised at booking. While we will pass requests to suppliers, these cannot be guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.

Changes by You (Name Changes / Transfers)

Name changes, transfer of bookings, or substitution of travellers may be permitted subject to supplier rules and fees. Notify us as soon as possible to avoid additional charges.

Promotional Offers & Vouchers

Promotional offers, discounts or vouchers are subject to specific terms and expiry dates. They cannot be used in conjunction with other offers unless expressly permitted.

Intellectual Property

All content on the website (text, images, logos, trademarks) is owned by or licensed to Luxora Serene. You may not use, reproduce or modify content without prior written permission.

Privacy & Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services you consent to processing necessary personal data for bookings and legal compliance.

Complaints & Refunds Procedure

If you have a complaint, notify the local guide / supplier immediately so they can attempt to resolve the issue. Also, contact Luxora Serene as soon as possible. Formal complaints should be submitted before completion of services / tour to allow for proper investigation immediately.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any dispute arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of rights.

Changes to Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the website with an effective date. Continued use of the website after changes signifies acceptance.
